Catching up........

OH MY GOSH, I can't believe how long it's been since my last post!
Time is going by so fast; Landon will be 5 years old next month and starting Kindergarten, and Brogan will be 2 in August; my babies are growing up!
I went to Utah in October and was there for Halloween; what fun that was to go trick-or-treating with the kids. They came out for Christmas, as it was going to be Great Grandpa's last. Having them here helped so much; it was a great escape for a few days, and I'm glad Jason got to see Grandpa one last time before he passed away, which he did on Feb 13th. I spent 10 days in Utah the end of Feb, and had a wonderful time with Jason, Tiff and the babies. It gave me something else to focus on besides Dad's passing, and was just what I needed.

Landon kicked my butt playing various Wii games......my ego definitely suffered a little damage.....the child is awesome, I didn't stand a chance! He kept offering to help, and give me direction, even he knew I sucked!

He rocks Guitar Hero too, and Brogan looked so cute with his guitar!
I had such a good visit and enjoyed all the cuddle and play time I got.
Vanya and Dustin took a short vacation to New York and just returned.
Jason and family are in Minnesota; Jason has a summer job installing home alarms; I hope they don't come back talking funny!
Sooooooooo, that's a brief synopsis of what's been happening in my world.

What a week!

What a week we had! I hope that Landon will remember his trip to California.
I had such a great time while they were here. Jason and Tiffany spent the night at Michelle and Dustin's Thursday night, so I had the babies ALL TO MYSELF! I took them to the park and then to McDonald's for dinner. We read books and watched movies that night and the next morning; Landon actually stayed still long enough to cuddle with Grandma a few times...............very rare and precious. I had lots of cuddle time with Brogan, fortunately for me and my need to cuddle, he is a very laid back baby.
Auntie Shelly came over Wednesday night to fix us dinner and spend time with the kids.
They (Auntie Shelly, Landon and Jason) had a burping contest, which Auntie Shelly won.........I was so proud! Landon was in complete awe of her burping abilities (who wouldn't be)! Landon wanted Grandma to burp, but sadly I couldn't do it; I'm sure I was a huge disappointment to him!
It was a fun week that went by all to fast.

They're here!!!!

OMG, they're finally here, and you KNOW I'm in heaven! I'm having so much fun; we took the kids to Tilden Park yesterday to ride the steam train and go to the petting zoo.......Landon loved it.
Great Grandma and Auntie Shelly were with us......good times, check out the pictures.

Update

Well, it's been awhile since I updated my Blog, and several things have changed in my life. I found new homes for two of my furry children, so now I just have Buddy, and believe me he's MUCH happier...................I don't think he liked sharing his space. He still has to share it with Xena when I babysit, and believe me there are disputes.
I am no longer working, so am looking for a new job; BUT, the biggest news is that the grand kids are coming to visit next week, and oh yeah, Tiff and Jason too!!
I am sooooooooooooo excited to see all of them, I can barely contain myself..........talk about being in Grandma Heaven!
I may even get to spend time with Michelle AND Jason at the same time, and that hasn't happened in a while!

I've been hard at work trying to figure out which pictures of Landon to take down to repelace with picures of Brogan; and believe me this has been hard,......................if only I had more wall space this would not be a problem, and I wouldn't have to figure out which pictures get kicked to the curb and which ones stay. I'm determined that Brogan will have equal wall/table top space as Landon...........................a Grandmother's life is not always easy; trust
me!
